TheLorry is currently doing research to accelerate our Optimization Algorithm with the support of Malaysia Digital Economic Corporation (MDEC).
As TheLorry’s e-commerce b2b segment grows from hundreds to more than thousands of parcels delivery a day, we can no longer cope with conventional route planning and parcel sorting, assigning drivers, and find the best route for each delivery by solely using manual labor alone.
We believe that by developing our in house load and route optimization software would help to reduce the burden of our operation team through automation, reduce our driver-partner operating cost through an effective load and route optimization plan, track the journey of our drivers and increase the satisfaction of our customers by on-time parcels delivery.
At the time of writing, TheLorry already set up a dedicated team to develop and deploy the solution in the time span of 2 years which majority of our talents are locals coming from diverse backgrounds.
