Our large and expanding fleet of professional drivers are ready to serve all types of logistics requirements - whether it is 100 trucks or 10,000 trucks a day, on-demand or scheduled.
Our technology-driven solutions allow our customers to have stress-free, professional, safe and affordable moving service. We offer a full range of services including vehicle rental, wrapping, assembly/disassembly of furniture and insurance coverage. Bookings can be made via our user-friendly website and mobile app.
Our driver-partners are the lifeblood of TheLorry. We believe that the lorry and truck driver profession can be further empowered by creating a thriving ecosystem of complimentary products, services and facilities with the goal of improving our driver-partner’s income, reducing their cost and providing access to financing & insurance products.

How it all started
Started in 7th September 2014 with a simple goal to add value to the traditional “lori sewa” (lorry/truck rental) industry with an easy-to-use, booking platform for consumers.
Raised US$150,000 from KK Fund, grew the team to 10 people and added a Key Account vertical to the service offering.
Raised US$1.5 million from SPH Ventures and Elixir Capital, expanded operations to Singapore, grew the team to 30, strengthened both House Moving and Key Account verticals.
Received undisclosed amount from angel investors and family offices and grew the team to 50 people.
Received funding from Unilever in a strategic investment and expanded operations to Thailand and Indonesia. Won contracts from multinational corporations for Distribution of FMCG and Bulky E-commerce Deliveries.
Raised US$5.85 million from First Floor Capital together with PNB-Inspire, CSV, ADIF and SPH Ventures. Grew the team to over 100 and added Small & Medium Enterprise Solutions.
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Graduated with Bachelor of Business (HONS) from HELP University, Chee Hau is equipped with extensive experience in multiple areas in the logistics industry. He oversees the commercial, operations, and finance planning of the company.
Co-Founder & Executive Director
A degree holder in Accounting and Master’s degree holder in Finance from Curtin University, Nadhir is passionate in creating impact in all of his endeavours. He spearheads Product, Marketing initiatives as well as growth strategy in Thailand and Indonesia at TheLorry.
He currently sits in the National Economic Action Council (NEAC) and Malaysia Innovation Policy Council (MIPC) looking at issues relating to digital economy, entrepreneurship and youth. He is also the Vice President of Persatuan Usahawan & Industry ICT Bumiputera Malaysia (NEF).
